Health Safety & Environment Site Safety Coordinator

The Bayer Crop Science NA Product Supply Organization is seeking a highly motivated Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Coordinator to join our Iowa Parent Seed Production team. The HSE Site Safety Coordinator reports to the Production Lead and is a member of the Site Leadership Teams. The scope of the role includes leading, overseeing and driving all aspects of the implementation and maintenance of the site environmental, safety, and occupational medicine programs at the Williamsburg and Grinnell Parent Seed Production locations.
The HSE Site Safety Coordinator will maintain a strong relationship with the HSE Specialist, North America Occupational Physician Lead, Site Leads, Production Leads, Operations Leads and other site personnel at both assigned facilities. The successful candidate will need to be able to adapt quickly to changes in our business, courageously face new challenges and opportunities and leverage the talents, skills and resources of team members and peers.
Responsibilities:
+ Manages direct reports through motivation, recognition, leadership, and employee development and administration
+ Lead and develop HSE strategy across locations with new initiatives for rollout and implementation
+ Lead and drive awareness, ownership, and accountability of the HSE program at the sites while working with sites management and HSE staff to achieve site goals
+ Create, drive, and maintain HSE programs at the sites; will balance site?s observations, auditing, and employee coaching in day-to-day activities with documentation and development of site?s training and improvement areas
+ Responsible for leading and conducting inspections and audits of sites and participate in seed site safety network
+ Prepare and retain training documents, job safety analyses, and other documents related to sites safety activities
+ Provide and present HSE training programs in a manner that creates employee engagement
+ Maintain performance metrics/KPIs along with recordkeeping systems?Health, Safety, and Environment?required to document compliance with all Monsanto and legal requirements
+ Work with HSE Specialist, Corporate Environmental Affairs, and Global Engineering to evaluate and prepare air permit applications and/or exemption records for new and changing processes.
+ Utilize a risk analysis process to evaluate new and changing processes and the effectiveness of existing requirements
Qualifications ? Required Skills/ Experience
+ Minimum of a BS with 3+ years relevant experience to include knowledge of applicable government regulations (EPA, OSHA, etc.)
+ Demonstrated ability to lead people and teams
+ Results oriented approach
+ Capability to clearly present information and influence or persuade others through oral or written communications
+ Ability to make decisions and solve problems while exhibiting situational judgment
Qualifications ? Desired Skills/Experience
+ Preferred degree disciplines are Occupational Safety and Health, Environment Safety and Health, Safety or Environmental Management, Engineering, and Safety or Environmental Science
+ Completion of OSHA?s 30 hour General Industry course
+ Experience with agriculture, seed manufacturing
+ Experience in working and/or leading in a matrix environment

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
