Role Summary To support the IT functions of the business including hardware, software and peripherals. Key Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities o Supervise upgrades on hardware and software systems as required while adhering to SOX guidelines o Support enterprise, cross-divisional Microsoft Office, Active Directory, and CAD (Catia, Auto Desk Inventor Series, etc) systems. Support EDI systems including connections to customers and vendors. o Manage enterprise systems backups, including IBM AS/400, file and print servers, SQL database servers, E-Mail, PC's, virtual servers and any other critical data systems. o Assist company personnel in development of small applications in MS Office, e-mail systems and/or manage relationships with outside companies to deliver required applications. o Assist in continued implementation of the ERP software system, CMS, and other applications. o Oversee all installation and of software and systems, and provide training as necessary o Assist in management of vendor software agreements/contracts o Continually develop and maintain pre-existing documentation of all system related areas o Assist all users with day-to-day issues experienced while using computer hardware and software o Troubleshoot any problems experienced by PC users on a timely basis o Perform repairs and maintain a schedule of preventive maintenance on hardware systems as needed o Manage EDI overlays and ensure dependable and consistent communications between the division and its customers and vendors o Through self-training, computer-based training, and courses, continuously improve levels of knowledge and competency with IT systems and products utilized by each division. o Assist in the evaluation of new technologies, hardware, and software o Assist with company projects requiring IT involvement o Work and coordinate with other Magna division IT personnel as needed o Travel to and help out other Magna divisions, corporate offices, etc. when needed while making provisions for other divisions' IT personnel to come and help you out when needed o Handle confidential information on a regular basis o Encourage safety and housekeeping practices and lead by example o Promote and facilitate Open Door process, effective communication and Fair Treatment o Participate in Continual Improvement activities o Adhere to customer requirements, Business Operating System, and company policies o Perform other duties as required Key Qualifications/Requirements Knowledge, Skills and Abilities o Windows 7, 10, Windows Server 2012, 2016 o Microsoft Office 2016, 365 o Strong understanding of networking o Capable of maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing systems hardware o 60

users o Microsoft Windows Server 2012 Active Directory based forest/domains, Microsoft Exchange 365/Outlook, IBM iSeries based manufacturing system, Microsoft SQL Server based database systems o Network and routing using Cisco wireless networks & routers, HP Managed 100Mb and 1000Mb Switches, Fortinet VPN Appliances o VOIP phone system o Microsoft Azure Virtualization, Site Recovery, Backup, and Power BI o Microsoft Windows Server 2012 Active Directory in hybrid mode with Microsoft 365 o Netapp and VMware virtualized environment o SQL DB administration Education and Experience o Associate or Bachelor degree in Computer Science (or related field) and a minimum of 2 years actual work experience in the Information Technology field Qualifications o Able to demonstrate understanding of how job performance affects product quality and customer satisfaction o Able to work well with others; build and maintain positive employee relations o Proven team player and self-starter o Able to resolve user problems on a timely basis o Able to prepare, read and interpret written reports, instructions, procedures and guidelines o Able to clearly and effectively present information and respond to questions from management, employees, suppliers and customers o Able to maintain confidentiality, and use discretion and tact o Able to manage and schedule multiple priorities and meet deadlines o Able to work flexible hours to be available to three shifts Additional Information Working Conditions o Office and shop floor o Works independently with some supervision o Ability to work some flexible hours and be on call to provide support to users on all three shifts o Ability to be back up support at multiple divisions when needed 05--Information Technology F--Permanent/Regular
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
System & Network AdministrationEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
