Mon, Wed & Fri 8am-5pm, Tu & Th 12pm-7pm We are looking to add a new staff member to our team! Lots of opportunities to grow your career with no previous experience or education necessary.
Assists the optometrists by administering specialty testing, checking eye functions by measuring visual acuity and obtaining patient's medical and ocular history.
Know and understand medical and ocular terminology.
Duties also may include floating to other areas as needed.
Essential Functions:
Create a positive and uplifting work culture.
Assist the providers with the exam and treatment of patients.
Administer specialty testing.
Obtain patient medical and ocular history.
Fit contacts.
Manual refracting.
Prepare electronic charts.
Assist with the contact lens care.
Assist in other areas as needed.
Knowledge & Skill Requirements:
Know, understand, and demonstrate Axis Vision Care's vision, mission, and values Team oriented Communication - ability to communicate with patients and co-workers Computer skills - ability to work on Microsoft office and our software system Service orientation - ability and desire to want to help others Problem Solving - Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions Critical thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED Commitment to employee and patient satisfaction Strong desire to grow and develop yourself and co-workers CPO certified, or willing to get certified Job Type:
