Our Client's Engineering team works across all product lines and therefore has the unique opportunity to grow their knowledge base and abilities. They believe that it is simply a shame to pigeon-hole engineers into a single aptitude, rather than engage them throughout all aspects from product development through prototyping and production.
The Electro-Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the creation of detailed system requirement definitions, and detailed component, module, interconnect and equipment interface specifications with development oversight for new agricultural control, monitoring and electrically powered equipment products. This role will serve as the principal engineering advocate who will participate in the establishment of critical supply chains and partner-supplier development programs.
The Electro-Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for all aspects of system development and validation/verification acceptance activities through oversight and/or hands-on design, construction, test enablement and testing of prototypes, first articles and PPAP units ensuring that all design goals and requirements are met. Depending on experience and qualifications this may be done autonomously or under the direction of a lead project engineer. Responsibilities will include some engineering project and company program leadership.
Required Skills
Formal training and/or experience with parametric modeling, machine design, electronic circuit design, hydraulic circuit design, software design, user-interface (man/machine control) design, database design, application of computer technology, machine communication protocols, artificial intelligence, wireless technology, and related subjects.
Implementation of some or all of the above technology in agricultural, excavation, logging or construction equipment monitor/control applications.
Ability to effectively communicate with idividuals throughout all levels of the organization and various departments.
Ability to identify and communicate project risk.
Ability to development and maintain a project budget.
Required Experience
Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
Masters degree is preferred.
At least 3-5 years of experience in related role.
Academic/organization related leadership roles .
Direct responsibility for product definition, supply chain development, developing supplier enrichment, product testing/evaluation and subsequent refinement of products is preferred.
Strong Agricultural professional experience and/or personal background is preferred. Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
